The Solar Air Conditioner is 100 % DC powered and runs off batteries that can be charged using solar or wind power. This makes the product independent of the electric grid. This results in lower overall cost of the system, no power loss due to conversion as well as no maintenance cost for the inverter. The Solar Air Conditioner is designed to work off solar panels and batteries and is independent of the electric grid. This is the only product of its kind for room Air Conditioning. Since it is not connected to an electric outlet, the operating costs are zero. The Solar Air Conditioner is designed and engineered in the USA with assembly taking place in China.

There are 4 different models of solar air conditioners and ranging in sizes from 12,000 - 15,000 BTU's with and without heat pumps. The 12,000 BTU unit uses only 560W power provided by a 48V battery bank as opposed to 1,500W for a traditional split air conditioner of this size. Our Hybrid Solar Air Conditioner operate at a high SEER of 35 during the daytime and a SEER of 20 during the night. These hybrid air conditioners can be operated with 2 or 3 solar panels depending upon your requirements. The Hybrid Solar Air Conditioner is ideally suited for on grid applications where air conditioning requirements are greatest during the daytime Attached is information on our Hybrid Solar Air Conditioners. The hybrid air conditioner is perfect for an office environment where air conditioning is only required during the day time hours. Since there are no batteries required, the total cost of ownership is significantly lower than the 100% solar powered air conditioner.

We have an entire line of Solar Powered refrigerators and freezers which is probably of interest to you. The Refrigerators and Freezers are all DC powered and operate on as little as 70W of power which can easily be supplied by a 12V battery. Since all our units are DC powered, they do not require an inverter and are extremely efficient. We have received a tremendous response to our entire line of solar refrigerators and freezers as they require only a single solar panel and a single battery to provide 24h refrigeration.
